Energy Forecast

Understand the climate.
Adjust the practice.

September 2026 marks a change of regime. After the overload of August, the climate becomes more analytical. It calls for revisiting what has been lived, distinguishing what is useful within it, then reorganising action.

Mercury becomes the guiding thread of the month: entry into Virgo, passage through Uttaraphalgunī and then Hasta, before Citrā. On 12 and 13 September, the Moon successively activates the first two fields: understanding must become structure, then precise action.

From the 17th, the Sun enters Virgo. Mars then moves into Cancer and Puṣya. The end of the month shifts the focus towards protection and closure: Pūrṇimā on the 26th, followed by a very close Moon-Saturn conjunction in Revatī on the 27th.

Background climate

Mercury organises: distinguish, order, refine, then articulate.

Jupiter in Cancer-Āśleṣā sustains a process of assimilation and untying beneath the surface.

  • Venus in Libra-Svātī calls for flexible adjustment; retrograde Saturn in Revatī recalls limits and completion.
Vigilance axis

Analysis may become control; precision, perfectionism.

Adjustment may become permanent hesitation.

  • Protection may become closure; completion may be delayed by the desire to keep correcting.

Assessment of the three bodies

One month, three levels of reading

I

Physical body

fine movements, shoulders, arms, wrists, chest, diaphragm and quality of support. The second half of the month adds a need for protection and recovery.

Caution
tension linked to precision, stiffness, attentional fatigue and overuse of the hands or upper body.
Response
restrained movements, clear transitions, proportionate range, stability before complexity.
II

Energy body

Prāṇa needs less to be slowed than it did in August, and more to be distributed correctly.

Caution
Punarvasu restores; Uttaraphalgunī stabilises; Hasta refines; Svātī adjusts; Puṣya contains; Revatī closes.
Response
one main kriyā, regular breathing and enough integration time to verify the effect.
III

Mental body and inner life

The mind becomes more capable of distinguishing, but also more tempted to correct. The central difficulty is recognising when analysis has fulfilled its function.

Caution
define the problem, choose one correction, act, then stop analysing once the criterion of rightness has been met.
Response
Fewer corrections

Sequences

The month advances through successive adjustments

1-6Sept.

Gradual emergence from the August regime. Mars moves from Ārdrā to Punarvasu; Mercury approaches Virgo; Venus returns to Libra.

Punarvasu. Restore before asking more of the system.

7-10Sept.

Mars-Punarvasu, Jupiter-Āśleṣā and Ketu-Maghā activations; Amāvasyā on the 10th.

Resume, untie, strip away. Do not rebuild too quickly.

11-16Sept.

Analytical core of the month: Mercury in Virgo, Uttaraphalgunī then Hasta thresholds; Venus-Svātī on the 15th.

Uttaraphalgunī and Hasta as priorities; Svātī for adjustment.

17-23Sept.

Sun in Virgo; Mars moves into Cancer; Mercury progresses towards Citrā; Rahu-Dhaniṣṭhā is activated on the 23rd.

Put analysis into action; use Dhaniṣṭhā occasionally if the rhythm runs away.

24-30Sept.

Mars in Puṣya; Pūrṇimā on the 26th; Mercury changes sign; Moon-Saturn in Revatī on the 27th; measured restart thereafter.

Puṣya then Revatī. Protect, conclude, and only then restart.

Key dates

Turning points to remember

7 September

Moon on Mars-Punarvasu.

Restore, resume, return to what deserves a second chance.

9-10 September

Jupiter-Āśleṣā then Ketu-Maghā; Amāvasyā on the 10th.

Untie, then strip away. Reduce rather than explain further.

12-13 September

Mercury activated in Uttaraphalgunī then Hasta.

Stabilise, order, refine: the operative core of the month.

15 September

Moon-Venus in Svātī.

Adjust the relationship without losing the axis.

23-24 September

Moon on Rahu-Dhaniṣṭhā, then Mars in Puṣya.

Slow the tempo, then protect what has just been built.

26-27 September

Pūrṇimā, then Moon-Saturn in Revatī.

Recognise culmination, complete, conserve, close the cycle.

02

The Dharma of Time

Discern. Adjust.
Act when the correction is sufficient.

The Dharma of Time here means right conduct within a qualified time. In September, the faculty of discrimination becomes more available: observe, compare, sort, correct, then act.

Right analysisMisused analysis
01

Distinguish what truly requires correction.

Looking for a flaw simply because one has learned to look more closely.

02

Establish a criterion before acting.

Constantly shifting the criterion after acting.

03

Adjust the form to reality.

Force reality to fit the form.

04

Recognise when a task has been sufficiently completed.

Delay closure in the name of impossible perfection.

The main risk in September:« rightness that hardens because it no longer knows when to stop correcting. »

Meditation guided by the cosmos

One element.
One operation.

  1. 01Sit steadily.
  2. 02Release the hands, jaw and the area around the eyes.
  3. 03Allow the inhalation to reveal what is present without immediately trying to change it.
  4. 04On the exhalation, choose one single element that truly requires correction.
  5. 05Name the operation inwardly: restore, stabilise, refine, adjust, protect or conclude.
  6. 06Ask: is this gesture still improving the situation, or am I merely continuing to correct?

may discernment become right action, may precision remain flexible, may I know how to correct without controlling, and recognise the moment when the action is complete.

03

The practices

Six kriyās.
Six operations.

A kriyā is not an isolated posture. It is a three-stage unit of work: support posture, target posture and integration posture. The support posture prepares the ground. The target carries out the operation. Integration gathers the effect.

Punarvasu mat kriyā: support, target and integration

Restore

Punarvasu
Restore before correcting

return to one’s own field before deciding what needs to be corrected.

Body locations

In Gemini: ears, throat, shoulder blades, nose; in Cancer: nose, lungs, respiratory system, chest, stomach, diaphragm, pancreas, upper lobes of the liver, rib cage

When to use it
At the beginning of September and around 7 September, when the Moon joins Mars in Punarvasu; use if the breath remains dispersed or insufficiently inhabited.
Caution
Restoring does not mean restarting immediately. Do not use feeling better as a pretext to accelerate.
Sign of rightness
Breathing returns to the back and diaphragm; the body gathers itself without closing.
Activation window6 September 16:23 to 7 September 14:44

When the Moon crosses Punarvasu, Mars is activated. Use this kriyā if energy returns but the breath remains dispersed: restore first, without accelerating.

Rule of reduction

When September becomes too mental, do not look for a more complex sequence. If dispersion predominates, return to Punarvasu. If unfinished business or fatigue predominates, return to Revatī. If the system is stable but the problem remains vague, choose Hasta and define one single criterion. If that criterion is met, the practice is complete.

What enters October must be more precise without being more rigid, better protected without being more closed, and sufficiently complete to no longer require permanent correction.

04

The Moon throughout the Month

A point of support
for every day.

The data indicate the nakṣatra and tithi present at sunrise in Varaire (France). Their combination provides a daily point of support for directing intention and choosing one of the month’s kriyās.

Energy of the day

Mercury enters Hasta while the Moon is still there briefly. Understanding must become gesture. The risk is continuing to correct after the right gesture has already been accomplished.

IntentionAct precisely, then stop.
Practical grounding

Hasta. One operation, one criterion of success.

The monthly climate remains the priority. Activation thresholds refine the practice at specific moments. One main kriyā is enough; secondary practices intervene only when their threshold becomes effective.
