The aim is not to submit to fate, but instead to learn to recognise time, inhabit it and act with it.

Sattamuni
I am Sattamuni, a Vedic astrologer, researcher and lecturer in Vedic and Tantric studies.
For many years, my research has focused on the traditions of India, especially Jyotiṣa, Yoga, Tantra, the Siddha traditions, and the different Indian conceptions of time, the body and energy.

How can India’s traditional bodies of knowledge once again become living tools for understanding and transformation?
A science of Time
Reading the quality of a
moment.
I therefore do not regard astrology as a system designed to predict the future mechanically. For me, Jyotiṣa is first and foremost a science of Time: a way of understanding the particular quality of a moment, the forces that move through a life, and the periods during which certain potentialities become active.
This research led me to develop a distinctive approach that I call AstroYoga. It connects astrological observation with the body, the breath, the nāḍī, the cakra and the practices of Yoga. The nakṣatra, the planets and the various astrological cycles thus become a genuine grammar for reading the relationship between cosmic time and the human body.
From sky to body
Recognise. Inhabit.
Act.
This same perspective guides my work on the Energy Forecast, which offers a reading of major collective astrological climates and their possible effects on the physical, energetic and mental levels.
Research & transmission
Linking rigour with
experience.
Alongside this practical research, I pursue historical and textual study devoted to Yoga and the Tantric traditions: the history of practices, Sanskrit and Tamil texts, medieval Haṭhayoga traditions, Śaivism and Śāktism, Indian astrology, medicine, and traditional conceptions of the subtle body.
Through my consultations, teaching, lectures and publications, I seek to build bridges between the rigour of research, the intelligence of traditions and their concrete experimentation.
These bodies of knowledge truly become meaningful only when they cease to be objects of the past and once again become instruments for reading present experience.
